- The reason why people were talking about the possibility of Clary and Izzy becoming parabatai is because they didn't even know Simon would be an option, because at the time, he wasn't. Before CoHF came out, I thought Izzy would become an Iron Sister 'cause I was convinced that either Alec or Simon were to die :p But they didn't.
