It was a terrible end to a good villain, but at least the heartbreaking ending made up for it. For me anyway. But yeah, that's why Dragon Ball Super ruined our favorite Saiyan, Goku. At least the DBS: Broly movie fixed Goku up to a point where he's actually smarter than in the DBS anime.
