- What we noticed about Shanghai Disney was that the food appeared to be at least a step above Disneyland Paris fare. While it wasn't quite the legendary food of Tokyo Disney Resort, it was good. There was a mix of Chinese, other Asian, and western cuisine, with the latter being most rare. The snack options were quite great.

The only downside is, unlike Tokyo Disney Resort, the Park doesn’t announce event dates far in advance. It’s not uncommon to have an announcement a week or two before the event begins.
