Who was Scar's love interest?
Introduced in the animated film The Lion King (1994), Nala subsequently appears as a less prominent character in the film's sequels The Lion King II: Simba's Pride (1998) and The Lion King 1½ (2004), and serves as a recurring character in The Lion Guard (2015–2019).
Is Zira in love with Scar?
Because this would be incest, due to Nunka and Aisha being first cousins once removed, the relationship was obscured to make Zira "a follower" of Scar, and Nunka became Kovu and was instead Scar's adopted son. Some media suggests that Zira at best, was romantically attracted to Scar.

Scar refuses, and when Sarabi snaps at him about not being half the king Mufasa was, Scar strikes his sister-in-law, claiming that he is ten times the king Mufasa is.
Why did scar ask Sarabi to be queen instead of Nala?
- As Nala escapes from Scar, he tells her that one way or another he always gets what he wants. He then tells the pride he chooses Nala as his queen. Similar to Sarabi, she refuses. Instead of leaving it be, Scar banishes Nala from the Pride Lands. That's, presumably, how she winds up in the jungle finding Simba.

Why does Sarabi keep her head held high?
- When faced with Scar, an overbearing and unfair leader, Sarabi keeps her head held high, unaffected by the intimidating presence of her abounding enemies. Even when blamed for problems that are not her fault, Sarabi keeps her temper, remaining fair by refusing to take the blame for Scar's doings.
