- Because Goten is obviously stronger then Trunks due to the fact that trunks is a whole year older then Goten and in one year Goten will be a lot stronger then Trunks was at the same age.And I know Vegeta say gohan has the most potential but he doesn’t really know about Goten’s potential becuase this is during the Buu saga when he is just 8.
