- Yes and no. While the anime currently has no plans to continue the manga itself comes out at a PAINFULLY slow pace. The reason for this is the creator of HxH is very ill and cannot push out the manga and there is just not enough of it to continue the Anime.

Unfortunately for fans, the chances remain low for the anime series to return for season 7 as of the moment. Madhouse has not announced any plans of renewing Hunter X Hunter for new seasons yet.

But the story does continue from beyond that point (ep 148), but only in the manga itself.
