The History: It is believed The Garrison Tavern in Small Heath was frequented by the Peaky Blinders at the turn of the 20th century and was a favourite drinking location of the gang. The real The Garrison is located on Garrison Lane in the Small Heath area of Birmingham, close to the St Andrews football stadium.
Where is the Garrison pub in Peaky Blinders filmed?
Liverpool Birmingham's Watery Lane – where the Shelby brothers grew up – and Garrison Lane home of the eponymous pub, were also filmed in Liverpool. Aunt Polly's house in Peaky Blinders is in Sutton Coldfield, outside Birmingham. On our tour we will take you to the actual house used for filming in a model village near Liverpool.

The first of 99 homes in an area of Liverpool where Peaky Blinders was filmed is ready for new tenants to move in after a £17.4million regeneration project. Powis Street in the Toxeth area of the city was painted black to give it a retro look when the BBC gangster drama was being filmed.
