Is Eragon a good book series?
Eragon (and it's sequel Eldest, and I'm sure the third and last) is the best book I've ever read. I was enthralled with the story after the first chapter, which doesn't happen often. The characters and the plot really draw you in and once you're there, it's hard to leave.

- Been getting a lot of books you guys recommend and wondered if Eragon is worth reading. I'd appreciate any thoughts and opinions. If you like young adult fantasy, sure. If you hate young adult fantasy, don't bother. I read it years ago and enjoyed the first two books, but it became too predictable and tropey as it went on.
