You will pay for a VSCO Membership through either the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store depending on your device. You will be charged at the end of your free 7 day trial period and all future charges are paid yearly from the start of the VSCO Membership.
Which is better VSCO or Snapseed?
VSCO app has 184 filters with a variety of looks and styles. Snapseed doesn't have a filter section but it does offer 11 “Looks”. These looks give photos a very HDR look with high detail and saturation. While the HDR look may work on some photos, overall it doesn't look that great on the majority of photos.

The VSCO X app has several different paths available, one being a social media form of itself in the community where you can share your images.
