Personally I agree with common sense media, this game is a great game for kids! There may be some violence every now and then, but for ages 9+, it's not that bad. This game is very interesting, it gives you like 2 paths, you can choose to be a murder (9+) or choose to make peace and be friends with everyone.

Is Undertale good for 7 year olds?

It's a good game after all however I only recommend 7+ due to some of the humor and violence not being understood by younger audiences.

Undertale doesn't have an ESRB rating, however outside of some language, a couple scary scenes and maybe a little content parents should look out for, the Pacifist route isn't too bad.
