In May 2021, the series was renewed for a third season consisting of just three specials, and later on, Disney announced that this would be the final season of the show. New episodes of The Owl House will hit Disney+ on August 18.
Why did the Owl House get Cancelled?
As The Owl House is one of Disney's most popular currently airing shows, my speculation is that this cancellation was brought on by budget constraints due to COVID-19 and the inability to run the Disney parks.
