No - she's Zira's daughter and Nuka's sister. In the beginning of the movie when we first meet the two she chastises Nuka for leaving Kovu alone by saying “Mom's gonna be mad, she told you to watch him!”. She's also very loyal to Zira, which also contributes to my thought that she is her child.

- Sarafina could also be Vitani's mother, with Scar as her father. This would make Nala and Vitani half sisters, thus their apparent rivalry. I could see how if Scar tried to make Nala his queen but then she ran away, Scar might go for Sarafina. Scar being Nala's dad is the stupidest thing I've ever heard in the subject of The Lion King!
