When does the Riot Games beta end in Garena?
- We will be deprecating the beta and terminating all public access to the Riot Games API in Garena regions on December 6th which is thirty days from now. Once we deprecate the APIs developers will no longer be able to get any data from the Riot Games API about players or matches played in Garena regions.
Can you play League of Legends with a Garena account?
- We will provide updates on how to create a Riot account for SEA players in the future. You will not be able to use your Garena League of Legends account to play new games. When we first set out to launch League of Legends in Southeast Asia, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau in 2011 we knew we needed to leverage a local partner.
Can you play Riot Games on Garena PC?
- Riot is focused on trying to deliver our new games directly to players directly in SEA where possible. That said, Garena will not be publishing TFT Mobile. Will TFT PC stay with Garena? Garena will continue to support TFT on PC. Will we have cross-platform play in SEA?
What's the difference between Garena and riot servers?
- On garena you'll find yourself surrounded by Malay and Singaporeans mostly, so it would be hard to communicate (all they say is walao, sohai, zzz, laah,etc) whereas on riot servers English is mostly used (French, German following) to communicate. 2. On garena you'll get better ping (below 150 usually) as compared to riot servers (180-400).
