Is it worth watching MCU?
Short answer: Yes, they are. Long answer: Okay, Iron Man 2 and Thor: The Dark World are on a much lower level than all other MCU movies (I personally enjoyed Iron Man 3). Honestly, deciding if you want to watch a movie based on how people or critics think of it, is a bad idea.

Not only that, but it would be fair to say that those 36 films have both an overall higher level of quality and consistency with the continuity of storyline through The MCU. Therefore Marvel wins the category for best films. So in conclusion, Marvel wins both heroes and movies, DC wins Villains.
