Simply put, no return of Hunter x Hunter anime has been announced, and god knows when the next chapter of Hunter x Hunter manga will be released.
Is HXH over 2020?
Unfortunately for fans, the chances remain low for the anime series to return for season 7 as of the moment. Madhouse has not announced any plans of renewing Hunter X Hunter for new seasons yet. They're currently busy with other projects instead and have released several anime series and films last year.
