Is Gwent dead? No! ... There were a few issues going into 2021 with Gwent, and a recent cyberattack on CDPR didn't make the developer's lives easier. While that might have slowed the growth, Gwent still has more active players than ever.

Is Gwent like Magic The Gathering?
Gwent is nothing like Hearthstone and has no roots in Magic: The Gathering. Instead it's a game about bluffing and timing, every match a best of three rounds where you try to end each round with a higher point total than your opponent.
Are there going to be more versions of Gwent?
- Looking to the future, we do not believe we can support a growing number of different versions of GWENT while improving feature parity between them. Considering that PC and mobile are the most popular platforms among GWENT players, we have made a tough decision: to discontinue support of console versions of the game.

- While it is essentially impossible to get a view of what is happening on Ranked (but before Pro Rank), Seasonal and Draft, it is possible to get the total number of Pro Players each season from Play Gwent. Technical details can be found here.
What kind of events do you have in Gwent?
- Gwent has also had multiple seasonal events, inviting players to take part in themed events with premade decks. These events functioned like puzzles, where exact moves had to be made to win. Seasonal events normally award a player profile picture, border as well as a title.
