User Info: XtraT. At that point in the series, no one keep their bodies when going to the afterlife. Kami made an exception and brought Goku's body to the afterlife so he could train with King Kai. Since he was in his body when he got revived on King Kai's planet, he had to fly all the way back.
Why did Goku's body disappear?
