Unfortunately, no. The new season will probably ignore the second season entirely but, only watching season one then :re won't do you any good. You're better off reading the original manga volumes 1-14 you can get your hands on them.
Should I watch Jack or pinto first?
It doesn't matter, they're both unrelated to each other and can be watched in any order. Jack was released first if you're concerned with release order.

You can skip it and go with TG manga. There is a key fighting scene missing in root A which is very significant for season 3 (and re manga too). Yea you can. RootA took a big hike in difference from the manga but it's still a very large chunk of the anime's plot therefore you can't really skip it.
