As of the summer of 2019, players can now nominate new PokéStops to be added into Pokémon Go. This gives players the opportunity to bring more PokéStops into their local area - particularly useful for rural players, or for those living in areas rich with trails and history.

Niantic has finally done it, after a whole lot of testing in specific locations, they have rolled out the “Wayfarer” program worldwide, which means that certain players can submit requests for gyms and Pokestops to be added in their area.

- You have to click on the "Submit a request" button and then select that you wish to add a Pokestop or Gym. The form then asked for additional information, such as name suggestions and an address. While it might seem fun to have a Pokestop outside of your house, remember that you would not be the only person to use it.
