- You can't get into the Johto region in FireRed or LeafGreen. But why? You don't. you can once you got the nat. Pokedex (catch 60 Kanto pokemon)the talk to prof.Oak,then go to island 1 and talk to the guy next to the rock he teleports you to the Jhoto region.Hope that helps
