Using the full power of his attack Gomu Gomu no Ono, Luffy managed to send the full force of Arlong's attack, Shark On Teeth, through to the bottom of Arlong Park, destroying the building in the process, and defeating the fish-man. As the battle concluded, Arlong lied buried in the rubble.

Arlong tries to stop him with a final attack, but Luffy takes the attack and smashes Arlong through the tower, finally defeating him and destroying the park in the process. Arlong is defeated by Luffy.

Why was Arlong killed in the Impel Down?
- I'm not sure what happened to Arlong, but according to Hodi Jones he was killed by humans... Arlong was released earlier on Jinbes request. the implication (that will never be confirmed or denied because either way raises plot holes) is that he was killed during his battle with Luffy.
Is it true that Arlong is dead in Onepiece?
- Either he was killed sometime during or after his arrest or the government is keeping him a secret else where and Hody has presumed him dead. Although I highly doubt the government would keep him a secret because he's not really that big of a deal compared to others that have been locked in Impel Down.
